If you are a heavy user of SkypeOut for PC to phone calls, you want all your contacts that are stored in different sources to to have copied into Skype as SkypeOut contacts. Manual copying is boring; embedded Skype Outlook import does not work well for all cases. We decided to develop an application that can help you to import the contacts into Skype and make the process as easy as possible. That is how SkypeSync (Skype Sync) appeared.
SkypeSync saves your time by importing contacts from your mobile phone and Microsoft Outlook into Skype. You can easily make SkypeOut calls, conferencing and SMS sending with all your mobile and Outlook contacts.
The current SkypeSync implementation supports import of contacts from two sources: Microsoft Outlook and mobile phones. You can copy your contacts to Skype as many times as you want to.
SkypeSync provides direct import of your MS Outlook contacts into Skype from any Outlook folder. Only contact names and phone numbers are imported into Skype. SkypeSync can convert local phone numbers to the international format required by Skype.
SkypeSync provides import of your mobile contacts into Skype over the Internet using an intermediate Synchronization (SyncML) server. Currently, only zyb.com (a free server) is supported. Your mobile phone must be connected to the Internet.

You first synchronize your mobile phone contacts with a Synchronization (SyncML) server. Then, SkypeSync copies your mobile contacts from the SyncML server to Skype.
